I just wanted to let you know how DELIGHTED we are with our solar inserts! As far as home improvements are concerned, this is without doubt the best money we’ve ever spent. We still have last week’s snow on the ground outside (nine inches deep when it was at its worst) yet I’ve been in the conservatory working at my pc all day – Tec-Sun really does add an extra room to the house!

Since the installation, we have (amazingly) had some sunny days too, but I’m no longer prevented from working by the unbearable glare which was making my screen useless. I can now view my monitor in comfort, whatever the weather.

I’d also like to mention that it was a pleasure to meet your installer, Mike, and a joy to have the work done by such an intelligent, articulate guy.

I’m aware that you can arrange installation anywhere, so I have recommended the inserts to a friend in Sheerness.

From the above, you can conclude that we are very, very happy!!

I was a but dubious at first to attempt this project as it looked a bit daunting. I soon realised that once I took two of the End Caps off and slid off the first end piece and peeled off the air strip to expose the rectangle
openings the job became a fairly simple task. Using the provided plastic rod was simple and sliding the tape into the top opening was also easy especially when the dry lubricant was utilised.

I work from my conservatory at home and use 2 computers and 2 printers. The heat had been unbearable in fact on several occasions it has reached a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius (110 degrees Fahrenheit) this as you can imagine is far from being ideal working conditions. I originally had "so called" heat reflecting blinds (Thomas Sanderson) on both the roof and side windows which made little or no difference to the amount of heat that was retained inside and even with an industrial cooling fan blowing all day made little difference until I fitted the Tec-Sun Inserts.

The difference using Tec-Sun Solar Inserts is incredible it has made at least 25 degrees internal reduction in temperature and a very substantial glare reduction. This means I can see the computer screens now and can work efficiently with a very pleasant environment.

I personally chose the green inserts as this matched the blinds I originally had.

I would definitely recommend Tec-Sun Inserts to anyone reading this. I am so confident that I would be willing for anyone to e-mail me asking for a recommendation paul.4connections@btinternet.com. I have even sent photos of my conservatory to Tec-Sun showing the stage of completion.

I had my conservatory roof fitted with Tec-Sun towards the end of last summer. The job was completed on a fine day with temperature in the conservatory in the 90s F. The following day was of similar weather. I noticed a fall in temperature of at least 10 degrees F. For the first time in many years we were able to watch TV in there during a sunny afternoon. I would recommend Tec-Sun to anyone with the heat and glare problems that we endured for so long.

I can enthusiastically recommend the Tec-Sun system for conservatory roof inserts. We were having a problem with excessive glare, making it very uncomfortable to be in the conservatory when the sun was shining. We chose the green inserts and they completely solved the problem. They have also considerably reduced the intense heat on sunny days. The inserts are so much nicer than blinds (and considerably less expensive!).

I thought That I should write to say thank you for your Inserts.

I have now fitted them and have reclaimed the conservatory as an additional room for our house. We live in a bungalow and it has resulted in making the house much cooler as there is not heat blasting into it from the conservatory.

Since I fitted them there has not been much hot weather but what little we have had produced a reduction of the temperature in the conservatory, I must say it is a pleasure to sit in it now.

I have no hesitation in recommending it as a solution for heat control.

I just wanted to e-mail you to let you know how thrilled I am with the solar inserts. Although my husband and I found it very labour intensive (lots of swearing at one point!!! After the first dozen we were away!) it was thoroughly worth it. By using your inserts we saved over two thousand pounds (we had just had a quote on blinds- unbelievably expensive).

Our conservatory has been a wasted area - its far too hot for our kids to play out there and it was a fairly uninspirational space. I have just got to send you this email to say. Excellent, Fantastic, So easy to install. Worth every single penny. It has truely changed our kitchen / conservatory. I AM SPEACHLESS... at how good this is. I'm sure you have heard this all before so many times. Can I just say if you have anyone that is thinking NOT to buy this product tell them to ring me.

We have had our kitchen extended into the conservatory for about 2 years. We had never sat in there to eat in the evening because the heat that had built up through out the day was huge. It was usally more than 90 degrees.

As soon as our solar inserts were installed (& it only took us 1 day to install a 6 meter by 3 meter conservatory). We where in there eating our evening meal. I have never done that before in the summer. The temperature change was brilliant.
